Missions has long been an important aspect of the ministry at WindSong. We believe we have received God's grace and are committed to sharing God's message of love and salvation. Beginning in 1912, with only five Christians, the church soon began reaching out to others as they planned and planted congregations throughout Little Rock, such as the churches at 44th & Potter and Pleasant Valley. Assistance was also given through the years to other groups in the formation of new congregations. Throughout Arkansas, the believers at WindSong helped in the establishment of churches in Booneville, Malvern, Cabot, Star City, Des Arc, Heber Springs, Clarendon, Marked Tree and others. Across America, we have supported missionaries in Providence, RI; Manassas, MD; Stroudsburg, PA; Damascus, MD; Simsbury, CT; Shelby, NC and elsewhere.
Partners in Progress was founded in 1980, and medical teams were sent around the world to offer aid to the suffering and proclaim the message of salvation. Since then, more than 1,000 medical professionals and 2,000 Bible teachers have volunteered in over 200 mission trips around the world. More than 100 members of WindSong have gone on foreign mission trips to carry the gospel to those who have never heard it. As we move forward, we continue our commitment to share God's message of love and salvation.
