IN THE HOSPITAL
Requests/Updates for July: Christopher Davis, a three year-old recently adopted from China, is suffering from seizures. He has family here locally and his grandparents stay in contact with the church. Update: Chris is now on anti-seizure medication and is improving. He is walking again and beginning to get back to his old self. Please continue to pray for his full recovery. (07-06-10) Dara Hall's tour to Afghanistan has been postponed until late August. (07-14-10) Frank Hall was hospitalized for testing and returned home Monday, July 12. The test results were good; no surgery is needed and everything is treatable. (07-14-10) Cody Icenhower, the 12-year-old son of Dwayne and Regina Icenhower, friends of Tom and Deanna Rogers, was diagnosed with leukemia on May 14. Update: Cody is receiving chemo treatments and is in and out of the hospital. He is struggling, but he's a very strong young boy who's hanging in there. (07-07-10) George and Dottie Schraudt are both having health problems. Update: Dottie had knee surgery at Arkansas Surgical Hospital on Monday, July 12. She is hoping to go to Rehab in Searcy soon. (07-14-10) Jack Tester received a liver transplant on July 3 and appears to be doing well. Please continue to pray for Jack and his family. Donna Webb requests prayers to rededicate her life to Christ. (7-14-10)
Requests/Updates for June: Don Allison, son of Thurl Allison and brother of Linda Reynolds, has a tumor on his lung. Judy Barthel, mother of Michelle Boaldin, had heart surgery on June 29 in Austin, Texas. The surgery was successful and Judy has returned home. Chris and Emory Boaldin, parents of Bobby Boaldin, are not doing well. Bobby has asked for prayers for their physical and mental health. Chris Boatright, son of Stephen and Carla Boatright and grandson of Juanelle Hooten, went home from Baptist Rehab on Thursday, June 10. He still has a long recovery process ahead. (6-11-10) Joe Bowen has moved to Chenal Healthcare and Rehab Center, 3115 S. Bowman Rd, Room 209, Little Rock, AR 72211, 501-228-4848. (6-10-10) Richard Butler, Claudia and Larry Meek's brother-in-law, has pancreatic cancer and is not responding to chemotherapy. Karen Daugherty, a friend of Ruth Gregg, was scheduled to have breast cancer surgery on Friday, June 11. (6-7-10) Molly McKim, Lorene Prater's great niece, is suffering from Wilson's disease and needs our prayers. Lance and Crystal Walters are recently married and will be moving to Mannheim, Germany. Lance is the son of Vicky Cummins. Please keep them in your prayers.
Please continue to pray for: Carolyn Armstrong is in need of our prayers, and Betty has asked that we remember her. Margaret Childers was hospitalized recently with heart and kidney problems. She is back at home now at Audubon Pointe on bed rest. Na'ndor and Angela Cse'ti are working in Debrecen, Hungary. Please keep their family and the work in Debrecen in your prayers. Tom Ekpot, Sr., our long term missionary in Nigeria, has diabetes and needs our prayers. Irene Hawkins is having health problems and needs our prayers. Mary Madeley, Amanda Tester’s mother of Conway, Arkansas, is still having severe problems with vision and walking. She needs your prayers as she continues to seek medical care and hope for recovery. Bill and Marie-Claire McDonough have returned to southeast Asia. Please remember the work in Cambodia: the clinic boat, "The Ship of Life," the teaching programs, new Christians, new church leaders, and new congregations; the medical programs; the rice coop and nutritional programs; the orphanage and school uniforms program; and the clean water and irrigation programs. Sandy Poole, Myron McCartney's friend, has been diagnosed with cancer and needs our prayers. Laverne Shields has moved to Grace Healthcare of Maumelle, Room 408, 501-734-1400 (center). Buddy Stanley, Carol Coffey's uncle, has multiple health problems and needs our prayers. Ellen Walker is in Tirana, Albania. Please keep Ellen and the work in Albania in your prayers.

Our hearts go out to: Deanne Rogers on the death of her cousin, Robert Henderson, on Saturday, July 10. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 14, at Roller-Drummond in England, AR. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers during this difficult time. Rita Milam on the death of her relative, Brady Smith, on Sunday, July 4. Vickie and Percy Cummins on the death of a family friend, Gladys Harrington, of Monroe, LA. Lance and Crystal Walters on the death of her father, Herb Rock, of Monroe, LA. Beverly Lee Burress on the death of her friend, Gene Lawrence, on Monday, June 28. The Family of Aline Moffett who died on Wednesday, June 9. Sunglasses for Cambodia—along with medical supplies, we have recently sent 21 pairs of sunglasses to Cambodia to be distributed to patients coming to the Ship of Life. Thank you for your donations.
