We rejoice that Drew and Carrie McCullough placed membership on Sunday, February 28. If you have not had a chance to meet the McCulloughs, please make a special attempt to do so and welcome them into our WindSong family.

Todd Lumpkin, Linda Stripling's nephew, has finished culinary school in Orlando, Florida, and has been offered a job by Disney as soon as they have an opening.

Congratulations to Bryan and Margaret Guthrie on the adoption of a seven-month-old baby daughter from Nanchang, China, named Ella Grace. Congratulations also go to big brother, Ethan (eleven months), and the proud grandfather, Ray Medlock.

We are sorry to learn that Tyler, Jessica and Bristol Matlock will be moving to Alaska the end of this month. We will miss them, but we wish them all the best and safe travel to their new home.

Bill and Marie-Claire McDonough are scheduled to return to the United States on Friday, March 12. Don and Diane Johnson are scheduled to return from two months on The Ship of Life in Cambodia on Saturday, March 27.

Robert Casillas is scheduled to return home from Iraq in a few weeks.

Brian Tucker, Dale and Marcia Tucker's grandson, has returned home from Iraq.

Recipes from the HeartOur Women of WindSong cookbooks are here and are available in the foyer on the counter by the doors to the auditorium. You may purchase one for $12, or two for $10 each, by placing cash or a check payable to WindSong church of Christ in the box provided when you take a book(s). Thanks.

Need extra help with a minor project or chore? The WindSong Men's Fellowship would like to help. Just fill out the short order form at the Welcome Center and place it in the red tool box. A volunteer will call you to schedule the work.


Events:

WindSong has Bible Classes for all ages beginning at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning. The lesson this Sunday is entitled "Caution: God at Work," Matthew 13:24-30 and 36-43. There is a Children's Bible Hour and an attended Nursery for children (birth to age 4) during morning worship.

The family of Jim Bill McInteer who died on Manday, March 8.

E. L. and Lola Biggs on the death of her cousin, Eva Branch, on Friday, February 19. Eva was also a "step-aunt" to Joann Casteel and Cathy Moore.

The family of Dr. Henry Farrar, the founder of African Christian Hospitals/International Health Care Foundation, who died on Monday, February 22, in Nashville, Tennessee. The funeral was Saturday, February 27, in Lebanon, Tennessee. There will be a memorial service on Monday, March 1, at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Auditorium at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

Jo Ann Browning on the death of her mother-in-law, Floyce Browning of Hope, Arkansas, on Monday, February 8. The funeral was Thursday, February 11, in Hope, with the burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Our Military Stationed Abroad

Al Gentry, Jay Gentry's brother is stationed in Iraq. Greg Gibbins, Freda Fowler's brother, Luke McCartney, Marjorie McCartney's grandson, and Sam Palmer, Stan and Judy Jones' son-in-law, are stationed in Afghanistan. Matt Powell, Harold Powell's nephew, is stationed in Germany.

Jane Bale is in Baptist Rehab Hospital (LR), Room 421 Recuperative Care, recovering from surgery on Monday, February 15. Jane fell in her apartment on Wednesday, February 10, and broke her right shoulder.

Andy Bruner, Dale Tucker's brother-in-law, is in Baptist Hospital (LR), Surgery ICU, following heart surgery on Tuesday, March 9.

Jo Ann Burks fell on the ice on Friday, February 12, and broke her leg. She is doing better and is now able to walk with a cane.

Richard Butler, Claudia Meek's brother-in-law, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Jackie Cravens, Sarah Heffley's friend, is seriously ill with cancer at M. D. Anderson Hospital and needs our prayers.

Na'ndor and Angela Cse'ti are working in Debrecen, Hungary. Please keep their family and the work in Debrecen in your prayers.

Nadine Daniels, Linda Pruitt's mother, is no longer taking chemotherapy. She will have another scan in March and needs our prayers.

Dawn Denton may have a problem with the mitral valve in her heart and needs prayers.

Bassey Ekpot, wife of our long time missionary in Nigeria, Tom Ekpot, Sr., has been in the hospital and has received blood transfusions. Please remember Bassey and Tom Sr. in your prayers.

Tom Ekpot, Jr. and his wife, Sandra, who are working in Jos City, Nigeria, have had more violence recently in a nearly village and need our prayers.

Xanthoula Groom is recuperating at home following successful surgery to remove her thyroid on Monday, March 1.

Freda House has been having serious heart problems. She has a growth of some kind inside her left ventrical and will have a PET scan on Friday, March 12, to rule out cancer.

Ann Hyatt is scheduled to have outpatient surgery on Thursday, March 18, and needs our prayers.

Mary Madeley, Amanda Tester’s mother of Conway, Arkansas, is still having severe problems with vision and walking. She needs your prayers as she continues to seek medical care and hope for recovery.

Bill and Marie-Claire McDonough have returned to Asia. Please remember the work in Cambodia: the clinic boat, "The Ship of Life," the teaching programs, new Christians, new church leaders, and new congregations; the medical programs; the rice coop and nutritional programs; the orphanage and school uniforms program; and the clean water and irrigation programs.

Sandy Poole, Myron McCartney's friend, has been diagnosed with cancer and needs our prayers.

Leo Skinner, Rachel Messer's boss' husband, is having problems regulating his blood pressure and needs our prayers.

James Street, James Sears' friend in Shreveport, Louisiana, is undergoing chemotherapy and needs our prayers.

Laverne Shields is at home recovering from injuries to her lower back and head sustained in a fall. She and Ernest would appreciate visits.

Jim Stewart, Karla Wade's uncle, has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at age 61. Please keep Jim and his wife, Ruth Ann, in your prayers.

Jack Tester has been hospitalized recently and though he is at home now, he is still very ill and needs our prayers.

Margaret Thompson is still having health problems and needs our prayers, but the results of her tests show no cancer.

Marcia Tucker went home from the hospital on Wednesday, March 3, following hip surgery on Wednesday, February 17.

Bill Thornton, Martha Denton's uncle and David Denton and Tina Lord's great-uncle from Levy, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer.

Ellen Walker is in Tirana, Albania. Please keep Ellen and the work in Albania in your prayers.

Dickie Young, Carolyn Bredlow's friend, has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. He is undergoing chemotherapy and is also suffering severe abdominal pain. His wife, Debbie, has heart problems and Carolyn asks for our prayers for both Dickie and Debbie.
