Let’s face it. Not every church is for everybody!

So how can you tell if WindSong is right for you? Here are some things that may help you decide if WindSong is the church for you.

First, at WindSong we’re about RELATIONSHIPS. It is God’s will that we have a relationship with Him. He loves us and he wants us to love Him. We demonstrate our love for God by finding the purpose for which He created us. We do this by listening to him speak to us through his word, the Bible. We also know that God wants us to have relationships with one another. We firmly believe that Jesus taught we must love our neighbor as we love ourselves. At WindSong we are dedicated to loving one another and our care and concern for each other is demonstrated in everything we do. We are also dedicated to loving those who are not a part of our church family. We know God wants us to demonstrate our love toward everyone that we have the opportunity to meet. Above all, we at WindSong are about relationships.

Second, WindSong is dedicated to REACHING those who don’t know Christ. Jesus, himself, commanded us to “Go, and make disciples.” As one writer put it, “Jesus didn’t invite the world to come to church. He commanded the church to go to the world.” We believe this is part of our mission as individuals and as a congregation. We are to be ever reaching out with the story of Jesus to those who don’t have Him in their lives.

Third, we at WindSong believe that the Christian lifestyle is RELEVANT to life in the twenty-first century. Christianity is not some antiquated philosophy that tries to make people unhappy by restricting their lives. Instead, the Christian lifestyle is one filled with meaning, purpose, happiness, contentment and blessings that come only from knowing God. Look around, we live in a world where people are searching for meaning and significance in life. God wants to give us the meaning and purpose for which we are searching. The Christian lifestyle is relevant.
